If you wish to support HHCR programs, there are several ways you can help out.   

Monetary Donations: 

HHCR is a non-profit organization and donations made to the organization are tax xdeductible.   100% of all monetary donations go directly to operating expenses and to providing services in the community.  You may make one-time contributions, or choose to become a monthly supporter.

Volunteer Worker

100% of our activities are performed by volunteers.  Skills needed range from managing program areas to filling food boxes for distribution.  There are many areas where an hour or two of your time each week would make a great difference to our ability to provide services to the community.  If you are interested in volunteering your time and talents, contact HHCR.

cookbooks - locally collected recipes = $10.00 each. 

Collection of Aluminum Cans and Tabs

We collect and sell aluminum cans and tabs.

IGA Grocery Donation Card

Fill out a card at IGA and designate HHCR as the organization to receive the donation from IGA.  IGA donated a percentage of every dollar you spend to the organization you choose.

Recycling

We collect used inkjet printer cartridges, laser toner cartridges, and cell phones and recycle them through FundingFactory.  The money earned goes to support our food pantry.  We have various collection spots around Jackson

Participating business partners contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to the school, group or organization of your choice. Visit our  family of merchants  for a complete list of participants in the program
