Our Organization

Helping Hands Christian Resources is a faith based, non-profit organization dedicated to helping others.  HHCR was incorporated in 2005 and is a nonprofit (501C3) organization.

Helping Hands Christian Resources Inc. is a result of our vision for Breathitt County, Kentucky and its communities that God has placed in our hearts .

Our goal is to show people the love of Jesus through whatever means available to us. We are to be HIS hands; using both ourselves and those whom God has brought together with us to make this a successful ministry.

How We Operate

HHCR is governed by a Board of Directors who are volunteers from the community.

All staff positions are filled by volunteers, including that of the Director.

All work is done by HHCR staff and volunteers from the community.

100% of all monies received from all sources goes directly to the operation of the programs and provision of services of HHCR.

Funding to date has been donations, fundraising by staff and volunteers, and small monetary grants from a variety of sources.

We partner with God's Pantry in Lexington to obtain the majority of our food items
